Experience: RoyalBank of Canada

One of Canada's largest financial companies, required a consolidated environment for all Internet content, including the corporate internet site, corporate intranet site, as well as numerous subsidiary web sites.

Architected and Implemented a 3-tier blended .NET/ASP/Vignette application to support multiple RBC websites under a single content management framework.
The system is XML based and supports delivery to multiple devices (browser, WAP, syndication, etc...) via XSLT translations.
Features include: fully browser accessible, WYSIWYG content authoring with multiple display templates, content reuse, versioning of all content (including images and files), abstraction of links and images, allows generation of new content types on the fly, the ability to view pages at any particular date - past or future, full auditing of system actions for forensic examination, multiple languages, granular access control and permissioning, complex workflows, and reporting tools.

Experience: DaimlerChrysler

In an effort to reduce the delays in the release of Brand launch information, DaimlerChrysler required a centralized content management application that could scale to manage numerous sites, and integrate French translation.

Architected and Implemented a Vignette Tcl application that would manage content for the Canadian version of the DCC website.
Features include: fully browser accessible, WYSIWYG content authoring, content reuse, workflow based interaction with content, multiple language support, custom reporting, user and group management, the ability to 'clone' the entire site (or any branch) – while automatically replacing links and image references to the new path, and a custom image and file library that grabs data from the US repository.
This system allowed the Canadian version of the DCC website to be launched simultaneously with the US version on which it is based, due to the fact that content objects could be built independently and added to pages after the US layout was finalized. Previously the Canadian version had typically lagged behind the US launch significantly.

One of North America's largest cities, required a consolidated environment for all Internet content, including the corporate internet site, corporate intranet site.

Architected and Implemented a 3-tier Java/Vignette application to support multiple City websites under a single content management framework.
The system is XML based including client tier which uses XMLHTTP and client side transformations.
Features include: fully browser accessible, WYSIWYG content authoring with multiple display templates, content reuse, versioning of all content (including images and files), abstraction of links and images, allows generation of new content types on the fly, the ability to view pages at any particular date – past or future, ability to export any portion of the website from any point in time, full auditing of system actions for forensic examination, multiple languages, granular access control and permissioning, complex workflows, and reporting tools.

One of Canada's leading financial institutions, required an online publishing environment for the corporate Intranet. This infrastructure is now being used by several additional departments including e-procurement.

Architected and Implemented a Vignette Tcl application that would support all branch communications and internal bank websites.
Features include: fully browser accessible, WYSIWYG content authoring with multiple display templates, content reuse, the ability to promote content to only certain audiences, staging content for publication, automatically exporting content to an external translation agency, automatically importing content from an external translation agency, complex workflows, role-based permissioning integrated with existing bank systems, the ability to provide 'mini-sites' with their own domain within the architecture, extensive content searching, and custom logging and reporting of viewed objects.

Experience: Softworld 2000

Softworld 2000 is a Business-to-Business portal for members in the Industry. It includes member registration with e-commerce transactions, profile management, a matching wizard, full text search capabilities, discussions, and articles.

Developed the site infrastructure and modules, and provided technical support for 50 thin-client network during the conference.
Features include: presentation of all conference related material, ability to register for conference online, delegate 'match-making' engine based on user provided input, and a messaging system provided through the website with the ability to send and receive internal messages as well as POP external email.
